Can I turn my laptop into a hotspot?

Here’s how to set up an iPhone Wi-Fi hotspot:

Open the Settings app, then select Mobile Data.

Tap Personal Hotspot, and set Personal Hotspot to On.

If Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth are off, iOS will ask if you want to turn them back on.

You can add up to two tablets to the same unlimited data plan, for an additional $20 per device. Verizon will stream ‘high-quality’ HD video as standard. The Mobile Hotspot allowance is 10 GB per month on 4G. After that quota is elapsed, further tethering traffic will use the slower 3G network.

The Jetpack costs $200, or $50 if you’re willing to sign up for a two-year contract. After that, data plans start at $30 per month, for 4GB of data, all the way up to a staggering $710 per month for 100GB.
